Who What Where When and Why is an ongoing collection of pieces inspired by my memories and past experiences. It is an exploration on weaving and color.

The first piece in this collection is What We Wear, a skirt made out of a combination of yarns and fabrics. It aims to showcase how clothes reflect the user and can say a lot about them. It was made as a class project during an exploration of color. It is modeled by my friend Antonia. Watch the garment in motion here:
The second piece in this collection is What We Remember. The weaving in this dress is inspired by my high school uniform's tartan skirt. Its intention is to reflect how all of our different life experiences and people we meet form who we are Today. It is modeled by my sister Julieta.

The third piece in this collection is What We See, an abstract artwork made out of tissue paper. This was a personal exploration to see how shapes and color interact to form a new design and wether the connotations associated with the original material are still present or not.

The most recent piece in the collection is Who We Are, a textile made out of recycled fabrics. This piece was inspired by the exquisite corpse and each panel represents a place or person in my life. More about this project can be found in this page.

This collection will continue in the future.
